Street photography and portraiture come together in this talk, drawing on Phil’s project which aimed to photograph 100 strangers and explore the stories behind the portraits. So far he has photographed 330….!

In this talk, Wendy uses about 60 Prints, in her creative style, using layering of her own painted textures to give a painterly look to the image. This, she explains, is what she really enjoys doing.

Malcolm is an experienced, award winning and highly regarded specialist in the world of AV photography. He is enthusiastic about encouraging others to give it a try, and his images and advice will be interesting and timely as we prepare for our own AV night in April.

David judged our mono competition last season, and conveyed his liking and enthusiasm for mono images. Tonight he returns as speaker, and will present a print portfolio of his own black and white photographs.

19th The Little Print Show: Jonathan Vaines
Jonathan has established a reputation as a creative photographer with a distinctive painterly style which emphasises light, colour and texture over subject. The many online plaudits for his work refer to creating art through photography, the very high quality of his prints, and departure from conventional camera club images.

Mike’s presentation will include environmental portraits, landscapes and cityscapes, in colour and black and white, and will include detailed information of how the final images were produced.

It includes an exhibition of prints featuring the people who work in the DH Lawrence Quarter of Eastwood.
