Burton upon Trent Photographic Society
The Members Annual Exhibition is held each year in November at the Priory Centre, Church Road, Stretton.  The Members are encouraged to enter the exhibition whether they are newly joined or experienced members.

The Exhibition is split into separate classes for beginners, intermediates and advanced workers in monochrome prints, colour prints, and digitally projected images (pdi).  There are separate classes for nature print and nature projected images.  We also have a panel of four related prints section  Trophies are awarded to the best in each class and for the best portrait, best landscape and the best record in each medium.  The closing is usually 3 weeks before the exhibition in November and is judged by an independent judge or judges.  Rules and entry forms are made available to the members at the beginning of the season.

The exhibition is open for viewing by the general public over the whole of the weekend from 10 am to 4 pm with the official opening on Saturday at 2 pm by the Mayor of East Staffordshire Borough Council.  The Mayor will also present the prizes to the winners of the Open Competition which is run alongside the members' exhibition.

The Open competition is free to enter for all photographers who are not members of the Society, other conditions do apply, see the Open competition page for more details.
